Mall of Arabia is one of the largest shopping and entertainment complexes in the 6th October City. Solara Egypt designed and installed a comprehensive solar solution spanning rooftop arrays and shaded carpark structures.
Scope
- Rooftop arrays: High-efficiency panels across available roof area
- Solar carports: Shaded parking with integrated PV, reducing heat island effect
- Monitoring: Real-time production and consumption dashboards for facility management
Results
The system delivers a significant portion of the mall's daytime energy needs and supports the site's sustainability targets. Excess generation is fed back under the applicable regulatory framework.
